Stream-Side Meadow

Most of the Astral herd's dale is taken up by a broad meadow flanking the stream which runs down the mountain and through the valley. The lack of trees makes this a sunny spot on clear days, and thus a favorite location to sit and conduct daily business, whether making goods, checking records, or putting together plans for upcoming adventures. On nice days, a couple Thyci can usually be found napping in the soft grass. The stream itself is clear, with a rocky bottom. When herd meetings take place in the meadow, foals are allowed to play in the water, keeping them occupied during otherwise boring discussions.
