| Perhaps one of the most dangerous areas of the river, the rapids is a section of the river where it rushes by at high speeds, white foam dotting the top and a wide variety of large rocks that collect debri that comes down the river with the rushing water. It's recommended to never try to swim in it, as it's easy to get swept away - and if you were to collide with a rock - well that'd hurt even the strongest of Thyci. |

| Calmer water surround this large island in the center of the river, and while it's a bit of a swim to get too, it's a favorite place to relax and explore - especially for the young Thyci. The entire Island has been looked over in the past, and with the entire area being charted, parents tend to use it as a means to train their young in the proper, and safe ways to explore and be part of an expedition with out a lot of the risks of a 'real expedition'. The island is also filled with vibrant tropical birds, and flowers that create the most beautiful aromas, and it's a lovely location to spend even if you aren't trying your hoof at 'exploring' for the first time. |
