"I promise, it'll be fascinating," Spectra insists, stepping up to the corn maze's entrance. "A vast field of twisting passages, dead corn stalks rustling in the wind. Anything could be hiding in there."
"That's... kind of the problem," Galax replies, reluctant to step closer. Sure, it sounds fun, but he's not sure if it's really that safe. "Why don't we see if we can get someone else to come with us? I want to see what's in there, but what if there's something dangerous?"
Spectra rolls her eyes. "Fine, we'll see if we can recruit someone else." Turning, she looks around for any Thyci she can snag to come with them into the maze.
Zo pranced through the crowds around the halloween fun, her rainbow braid dancing on her right shoulder. She had left her axe at home, deciding that a crowded event was the last place that she should bring a weapon. The black and white bodied figure was dainty in a way, but at the same time, her velvety coat slid over well defined muscles that looked like they should be on a stag rather than a small doe. Her father had made sure that she was well raised and knew how to act like a lady, Zo had just preferred to train and know how to fight.
Coming across a pair of Thyci, she dipped her head in greeting and smiled. "Hello there. Going through the Corn Maze?" She inquired politely, green eyes warm.
Spectra grinned as she saw a rainbow-haired Thyci approach. Looks like they had their third. "Yup," She replied. "I want to see what spooky secrets it may hide. I'm hoping there's a living scarecrow. My friend Galax here's a bit nervous, though," she nodded back toward Galax then continued speaking, "so we're looking for someone else to come with us. I'm Spectra. Wanna join us?"
"Yup, I want to see what spooky secrets it may hide. I'm hoping there's a living scarecrow. My friend Galax here's a bit nervous, though, so we're looking for someone else to come with us. I'm Spectra. Wanna join us?" Zo laughed and tilted her head, musing at what could be inside of the maze. "Perhaps ghosts and skeletons too!" She said excitedly, grinning. "I am Zo. I would love to join you! I love this kind of stuff! My father would not enjoy it, but he was never too thrilled that I began training as a barbarian either." She was laughing as she spoke, shaking her head at the thoughts of her sire. "He wanted me to be a proper lady... I found that boring." She finished, trying to explain a bit of her background without diving too deeply into it.
"No ghost could be spookier than me," Spectra stated. "I'm Spectra. My friend over there," she nodded back toward Galax before turning to face Zo again, "is Galax. He's a bit nervous about going in just the two of us, so I'm sure he'd be delighted to have a barbarian along with us."
Hearing Spectra talking about him, Galax stepped forward. "Hey," he said, "I just don't want to be caught off guard, is all. I want to see what's in there too, but I don't want us to be cornered by something dangerous."
